Bird Watching
Belle Grove Plantation offers excellent bird watching opportunities for local, migrating and rare birds. With our wooded area, river side and fields, serious birdwatchers will delight as they catch a glimpse of our Bald Eagles to our House Finches. March through September brings our resident osprey “James and Dolley” back to Belle Grove to nest and raise their family.
We are just starting to document our bird population so we encourage you to come and help us identify the many species of Belle Grove Plantation. There is no cost to come, sit and watch.
So grab your field specs and come catch a bird’s eye view of what Belle Grove Plantation has to offer.
