Quick Update

10/12/12 7:25 PM

Whew!

What a weekend we had!

We have so much to tell you about that it’s going to take several posts to get you caught up! We are going to do it a little different than the past weekends. This time, we are going to skip around the events from this weekend. I generally save the best for last, but this time, the best is too exciting to wait for! I will be posting it next so check it out!

~Progress~

In the meantime, a quick update on our progress in opening the doors. Tomorrow, Brett is heading up to King George to meet with the Zoning Director and to finalize the zoning approval package. After that it’s in the hands of zoning. Keep your fingers crossed and say a little prayer for us that it goes quickly. March is fast approaching and we are running out of time.

I will be contacting the landscaping and interior designer to prepare for a fast start once we get the approval from Zoning. Our hope is to have them ready to run fast and to get things done so we can get the doors open on March 16th (James Madison’s Birthday) We have gathered all our ideas and did all our research so we know what we want. It just a matter of putting it into action.

~One last note~

Tis the season for Cookies!

Here is a little hint of what is to come from Belle Grove Plantation.

Save your favorite cookie recipes! You will need them in the month of January!!
